This dynamic presentation will equip therapists with information about some of the serious (and preventable) liability issues therapists encounter, regardless of whether you are in private practice or work in an agency. Do you truly know what Best Practice is, in relation to progress notes and your other clinical documentation procedures? Goodness knows that most therapists did not go into this field because we enjoy doing clinical documentation, and we often receive very little training about it. Where Clinical Documentation and Best Practice Collide is a comprehensive presentation that is aimed at increasing your understanding of the liability factors that come into play with your clinical documentation, as well as improving your documentation practices in order to keep you, your clients, and your practice safe. This presentation will also provide clinicians insight about the oft-misunderstood term ‘Medical Necessity’, and how to integrate it into your clinical documentation for the good of your clients, particularly in relation to managed-care clients.
